All tax data on PayBreakdown.com is sourced from official government publications and the Tax Foundation for the 2026 tax year. Sources include:

  • IRS Revenue Procedure for 2026 federal brackets and standard deductions
  • Social Security Administration for the 2026 wage base ($184,500)
  • State revenue department publications for all 51 state income tax brackets
  • Tax Foundation 2026 State Individual Income Tax Rates and Brackets

We update our data each January when new tax year figures are published.
